The Shelly Wave 1 is a single-channel 16A Z-Wave smart switch with dry contacts that allows you to automate and remotely control a variety of electrical appliances, such as electrical locks, gates, garage doors, irrigation systems, and lights.
Different types of actions, scenarios, and schedules can be set to sync your environment to your daily activities or business needs, via the Shelly smart home ecosystem, including the Shelly Smart Control app - or link it with a popular home automation software such as Home Assistant via a Raspberry Pi!
Note: You may require a neutral wire to use this product. Please research the device and your home wiring (safely, see below) before purchasing.

Shelly Wave 1 is retrofit and designed to fit behind any switch or socket, instantly transforming it into a smart one. Once installed, include it in your Z-Wave network (Z-Wave gateway is required) and control connected appliances from anywhere using your smartphone or tablet. Shelly Wave devices work with over 4000 Z-Wave-certified devices and gateways.
By using Z-Wave, smart home products can seamlessly communicate with each other, regardless of their brand or platform, thanks to a centralised smart hub! Shelly devices work on the latest Z-Wave chip generation (S800), one of the most popular standardised technologies for smart homes in the world.

- Before starting, wire check that the breakers are turned off and there is no voltage on their terminals. This can be done with a phase meter or multimeter. When you are sure that there is no voltage, you can start wiring the cables.
